Cropped dark line drawing of the Hospiz Facettenreich faceted facade and upper envelope, used as the project card poster.

Concept

Hospiz Facettenreich

Hospiz Facettenreich investigates the hospice as an architectural threshold between institutional care, domestic ritual, and landscape. On the former Cambrai-Fritsch-Kaserne in Darmstadt, the thesis composes two palliative living groups around a planted courtyard, using layered transparency, loggias, and a faceted upper envelope to negotiate privacy, community, and spatial dignity at the end of life.

Concept

Bridge Building – VFOHAS Bridge

A speculative transformation of an existing bridge in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt into a productive civic connector, combining vertical farming, public circulation, learning spaces and photovoltaic infrastructure.
